What a unique place! Filled with over 500 stalls featuring homemade Jewellery, Henna artists, clothing, music, street food and much more. This was a great opportunity to immerse ourselves in some cultural history and what lead to the creation of Ibiza.
This market celebrates the hippies who travelled across the island in the 1960s and started the revolution that has made Ibiza what it is today.
A shock difference to the other side of the island, Es Canar features the hedonistic hippy market. Laid back, held at Punta Arabi, every Wednesday.
With over 500 diverse stalls at the Hippy Market, it is an extremely worthwhile day out.
Looking around you cannot help but fall in love with so many of the items on offer, from gold and silver jewellery to silk beach mats, beautiful art work and everything in between.
You can even have a Hippy Market beer!
It’s great that so many of the items are handcrafted and originate from Ibiza itself and you are truly spoilt for choice if you choose to purchase a true Ibizan treasure to take home.
There are so many things to see on the hundreds of stalls at the Club Punta Arabi Hippy Market, from handcrafted jewellery to everything tie dye, funny caricatures to traditional souvenirs. There is something for everyone as you find your way around the Jewel-ridden maze that is…the Hippy Market.
If you’ve got a spare half day in Ibiza visit the Hippy market, listen to local musicians perform as you wander through the maze of stalls creating a truly magical vibe. ☮
